5 minutes have passed and the only thing I hear is the deafening sound of silence... Talk about awkward :) ..
Why is this ride taking so long :s ? I want to ask him, but I'm afraid he'll eat me up alive! Courage Shahad, courage! Just say it!
"Umm Laith? Km bagy 3alla ma nou9al?" I asked confidently on the outside but screaming on the inside.
Silence was all I heard. He was holding on to the steering wheel so tight, that his knuckles turned paper white. His eyebrows furrowed and he was thinking so deeply that he looked like he was solving an algebraic equation in his mind.
"Laith??" I asked again..
Silence.
"Momkn a76 a'3any?"
And still he was silent.
Why is he ignoring me? I didn't do anything bad, I just defended Msa3ad. Oh god.. I know what he's doing, H'ES GIVING ME THE FREAKING SILENT TREATMENT! Oh.. you don't know who you're messing with Laith!
I plugged my iPhone to his AUX and put Spectrum - Zedd Ft. Mathew Koma. Then I cranked up the volume and opened the windows and started
HAHA .. That's what you get for giving me the silent treatment.. Silent treatment? Pftss.. I invented that!
He was resisting, he still wouldn't budge. So I decided to do something crazy.. I opened the sun roof and stood up so I can reach, and that's when I felt an unbelievably strong force pull me down. He pulled over..
"MA TST7EN ENTY?!" Laith screamed. Here we go again..
"Oh praise the lord! It's a miracle! IT SPEAKS!" I said maniacally.
He tried so hard to keep his mean stare but suddenly cracked up, I joined him. After almost 7 minutes of nonstop laughing, we finally sobered up. Laith was just looking at me, no not looking.. He was gazing. That all stopped when my stomach rumbled.. BLLRR BLLRR.
NOO!! Please not now, not when I'm actually starting to have fun.. Uggh, you stupid stomach.
Laith, trying hard to contain his laughter "Shklk jo3anah.. KAAAAK"

"Yalla."
And he drove us to McDonald's, the we went the grocery store, and then he just took me cruising around.. The conversation didn't stop until Salma called me.
"SHAHAD!" She yelled.
"Halla" I replied calmly.
"Wainkom?!!" Salma asked worriedly.
"E7na ga3den ndour"
"ELSA3A AL7EN 10 W OMK TAWHA DAGGA 3ALAY TS2L WAINK" She screamed. Shoot, I was having such a great time that I forgot about everything else.
I ended the phone call and asked Laith to take us to his house. After we arrived I rode my car with Salma and headed home.
Today was truly a day to remember :')
